LePresso Brevissimo Automatic Coffee Machine Review: Full Specs and UAE Price

In short: The LePresso Brevissimo (model LPCFFBAC0046) is a fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine that grinds at the moment of brewing. Built-in grinder with adjustable grind level, 7 to 12 g per cup, 9-bar brewing pressure from a pump rated at 19 bar, two independent boilers, a 1200 ml water tank and a 300 ml milk tank, 1480 W, 8.6 kg, and full control from a phone app. Five drinks at one press.

This is the most expensive coffee machine at HamadG, and the most different from the rest. The other three run on capsules or pre-ground coffee; this is the only one that starts at the bean and finishes with a full-foam cappuccino. Below are the specifications, the real differences, and when the price gap earns itself.

19 bar or 9 bar? Both numbers are correct

LePresso Brevissimo brewing parameters: 7-12 g of coffee, 9-bar pressure, 85-95°C milk frothing

The box says "19 Bar Smart Pump" and the manufacturer's guide says "9 Bar pressure". That is not a contradiction — the two numbers describe different things:

  • 19 bar is the maximum rating of the pump itself, its theoretical ceiling.
  • 9 bar is the pressure that actually reaches the coffee during extraction.

What matters is that 9 bar is the accepted standard in professional espresso. Machines that push coffee harder than that produce a sharp taste and over-extract. Seeing 9 bar here is a quality signal, not a shortfall.

Most listings put "19 bar" in the title believing it is a selling point. It is only the pump rating. The number that affects your cup is the brewing pressure.

What is inside

LePresso Brevissimo component diagram: water tank, bean container, grinder, brewing unit and dreg drawer

The parts you handle daily: the bean container with its lid, a 1200 ml water tank, a 300 ml milk tank with its pipes, the LCD display, the brewing unit behind the front door, the dreg drawer, and the waste-water drawer with a float indicator that tells you when it is full.

Both drawers pull out and empty without tools — an important detail at this price, because daily cleaning is what decides whether you keep using a machine.

Two boilers means no waiting

LePresso Brevissimo combines a coffee grinder, milk frother, espresso machine and dreg drawer

Single-boiler machines pull the espresso first, then heat to steam temperature, then froth the milk — and the wait between the two is noticeable. The Brevissimo has two independent boilers, so extraction and frothing happen at the same time.

In practice: cappuccinos for four people back to back with no dead time between cups.

What the app actually gives you

Controlling the LePresso Brevissimo from the app: coffee type, grind level, temperature, coffee and water volumes

Four settings adjustable from the phone:

  • Drink type — espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, or milk froth alone.
  • Grind level — finer for a concentrated espresso, coarser if the coffee tastes bitter.
  • Brewing temperature — makes a real difference across different beans.
  • Coffee and water volumes — set the cup to your size once and it is remembered.

The real value of the app is not starting the machine from bed. It is setting your parameters once on a large screen instead of stepping through menus on a small one.

The limits

  • 8.6 kg and 422 mm tall. This is a large machine — it needs permanent counter space and enough height under wall cabinets.
  • Daily cleaning. The milk pipes need rinsing after use and the dreg drawer needs emptying regularly. Capsule machines are far lower maintenance.
  • It needs beans. Without a good bean source, the gap between this and a capsule machine narrows considerably.
  • It does not make Turkish coffee — that is the Cezvara.

Frequently asked questions

What are the LePresso Brevissimo specifications?

Fully automatic with a built-in grinder, 7 to 12 g of coffee per cup, 9-bar brewing pressure from a 19-bar pump, dual boilers, a 1200 ml water tank and a 300 ml milk tank, 1480 W, 220–240 V, 190 × 385 × 422 mm, 8.6 kg, and a touch LCD with a mobile app.

Does it make cappuccino and latte?

Yes. It has a built-in milk frother with a separate 300 ml tank and serves five drinks: espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte and milk froth.

Does it take ground coffee or beans?

Whole beans. The built-in grinder grinds them at the moment of brewing, at a grind level you choose from the app or the screen.

Why does the box say 19 bar and the guide say 9 bar?

19 bar is the pump's maximum rating; 9 bar is the actual brewing pressure reaching the coffee. 9 bar is the accepted standard in professional espresso.

What temperature does it froth milk at?

Between 85 and 95 °C.

How does it differ from the Baristo?

The Brevissimo grinds beans, froths milk, has dual boilers and a phone app, and weighs 8.6 kg. The Baristo is a Nespresso capsule machine with no grinder and no frother, weighing 2.2 kg and measuring 83 mm wide. The first is for milk drinks and control, the second for simplicity and tight spaces.
